Why "Screaming Squid"? It does seem like a bit of a random name, however, there is some sense in it.

First off, "Miss Squid" likes a bit of alliteration which aren't complete tongue twisters. However, there is also a deeper meaning behind the name.

We want to scream about the informational content that we're putting out and sharing because it's all vetted, it's all great and it's all from legitimate sources. 

So, why "squid"? Well, a squid has quite a few arms or tentacles. Just like how we reach out into various sectors and industries.

As such, we came up with "Screaming Squid". Who doesn't love alliteration, a good old metaphor and a sensical story. 

Not bad for a story that we pretty much just thought up on the spot right? It just goes to show that we know how to "spin" things.

The real story? We were throwing names about, one of us came up with "Screaming Squid", the other liked it, we checked for domain availability and what not and found we were good to go!
